Black Sheep House Bedroom Two

Accommodation

The Living/ Dining room

Flat screen TV with DVD high-quality hi-fi, computer with broadband, telephone.

The sense of space is ever present in the Hebrides and this is reflected to great effect in Blacksheep House.

The curves of both ceiling and walls capture the ever-changing light. The hills, the tides, the sea and the sky are a constant shifting vista through the vast panoramic windows. Sturdy wooden pillars, exposed beams, natural slate (with underfloor heating) all compliment the elemental experience.

KitchenHouse Plan

Facilities include:
Electric hob and oven, microwave, large fridge freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine,  blender, filtered water on tap, iron and ironing board.

Master Bedroom

A large and secluded room (with comfortable kingsize bed) very much in the original part of the old Blackhouse. Simple and luxurious with the feeling of being somewhere very old and very sheltered from the outside.

The Platform

In the eaves of the building, the organic curves and lines come together to make a truly unique space which has the advantage of feeling both separate from and integrated with the rest of the house.  On this platform there is a kingsize bed should you wish to spread out.  Alternatively relax in a comfy chair to view the surrounding countryside.

Bathroom

A completely one-off Gaudi-esque experience. Beautifully lit and indulgent. Bathing will never be the same. Featuring powerful shower and sumptuous Japanese style soaking tub big enough for two.

Additional Information

We provide all bedding, linen & towels (including beach towels) and bathrobes to use during your stay.

The house has a large selection of DVDs, CDs, maps, books (including general and local information) and binoculars for your use whilst staying at Blacksheep House.

Outside

There is a Firebowl (with wood!), which is great for calm evenings, sitting outside and enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the shoreside, the stars, (the Northern Lights if you’re lucky!) and the views.
